The following is a short preview of the first page of chapter 1:
Bill turned the garden lights on. ‘What are you doing back there? You have no business here!’ He shouted. Next to his tall oak tree stood a cloaked man, he was dressed as black as the night.
The person in the garden didn’t react to his shouting. ‘I said: what are you doing in my backyard?!’ There was a loud, bumping noise coming from the stairs, and after that he heard his living room door slam shut. Somebody was inside his house and had been upstairs near his wife.
He didn’t want to go check who it was, but in order to protect his family he knew he had to. He tip-toed away from the kitchen, into the hallway. The hallway light was turned on, but he didn’t remember doing so. He raised his baseball bat when he got to the door to his living room, and slowly opened it.
To be continued...
An apocalyptic tale following a man on the quest of finding his wife after the collapse of the American dollar and during a 'cleansing' of the human race.

Reaping of Predators - Prologue
‘The price of raw oil has reached an all-time high, more and
more people are losing their jobs , the average debt of an American citizen has
never been higher, not even to speak of the debt of the American government!
Healthcare is too expensive for ninety percent of the population. People are
literally dying of hunger and thirst on the streets of YOUR country. You can’t
just wipe this off of your shoulder like nothing’s going on, mister President!’, John said angrily.
‘I’m not.’ Responded the President. He sounded like the accusations and tone of the news reporter irritated him.
‘It’s not just happening inside the US’ John continued, ‘it’s also happening in the UK, Germany, France, Russia, China, the world is suffering mister President. What are yo- what are the world leaders going to do about this?’ ‘We are currently in heavy consultations to find a solution for all of the problems you just described, John. We’re doing the best we can.’ Replied the President.
